the ruddy brown tabby padded over to the group. "come now. we can't be too harsh, as it's only a kit. although we do have to find out where it came from. would you like to continue your questioning with that point in mind?" the large-framed leader reminded, then taking a step back and transferring the power in the situation back to the trusted clan member.

to conclude the situation, the leader gave a nod, and then the long-furred feline spoke up again. "we have been too slack on those who are our enemies, i think. i need messengers to go to each of the clans, and question if they are our allies or not. for those who aren't, we will promptly organize raids to show them that we are to be feared. is that understood?" he proposed. he really didn't like attacking, but he had to keep up their fierce image that was known throughout the clans.

oh, well this gal wasn't flirtatious. nope. the chocolate tabby padded over, giving the she-cat a warning glare and taking a seat near the scene. the leader seemed to have it covered, for now, anyway.

the mackerel tabby padded over, observing this new 'leader' with disdainful emerald optics. "and what shall we do to prepare for this war? would it be alright for me to host a training session to get people into shape? possibly a raid on the tribe? as they don't seem to be very bothered about our politics, shall we make them... aware?" the guard asked. if he played along with this guy's plan, then he might just get to be his right-hand man, and then he would have power enough to turn this place around. worth a few people possibly hating him, right?

it was then that the guard arrived, a little late, yes, but he knew enough to know what was going on. the mackerel tabby flicked his tail to and fro in annoyance. who did he think he was?! just changing their ways like that!

{{i know that i haven't been the most active of people, but my coursework should start lightening up around christmas, and i should start to have more time, but for the meantime, my inactiveness will have to be tolerated, as between personal problems, coursework, and work in general, i just don't have too much time unless it's on the weekends. }}
the largely-built ruddy brown tabby hadn't recently been the best of leaders, and so it was time to do something that would get the clan up and running like a well-oiled machine. a competition of sorts. "Applauseclan! Gather here for an announcement!" he called out, hoping to get the attention of his clan.

the large grey-brown tabby arrived at the clearing, seemingly before many of the others. he hoped that his clan had followed him since the meeting had been held, those who couldn't come aside, of course.

the small feline had thought about this for a while, but eventually replied. "would it not be logical to seek help from allies, hoping that the rest of the clan had the clear minds enough to seek refuge with those we trust?" he stated, praying to just about every deity out there that he was right.

the leader was surprised that she had taken this move, and swiftly stepped aside, then jumping up and aiming to pin her; as he would then be able to explain the error of her ways.

"i would try to seek answers for my lack of lives from starclan, but if it was meant to be that i had less lives than most leaders, then so be it. i would be careful not to fight too much, but at the same time, i would fight alongside my clanmates, and be brave, because if starclan wishes that i die on that day, then on that day i will die." the small guard explained, keeping his face void of it's usual hyper-active grin in an attempt to look and stay professional.

why was he always the last one to reply! because his roleplayer was asleep when everyone else did? yeah... that's it... probably. in any case, the small, slate grey tom thought about this for a minute. "if the leader was injured in battle, then i would send a cat to a neighboring clan for help and defend the leader until they got back. if the medicine cat had run away, and the leader was sick, then i would call upon the medicine cat apprentice, or that of an ally." he explained, a smile on his maw showing that he was satisfied with his answer.
