Imitationstep had been wandering near the border... again. The tom had no idea why he had been wandering around every single border he knew existed on the territory. Even though there were only four, he'd been wandering around them all anyway.
That's when he heard another cat.

Imitationstep nodded to Maltese. "Sure." he mewed, padding over to stand across from the other cat. This would be so fun! He couldn't wait for it to start.

"I don't know how I do it either..." Mid mewed, trying to stop herself from doing the thing she really wanted to do: get out of the water. She was sure she'd be freezing for weeks after this, the water was so cold!

Middlerunner had been sitting by the border herself, trying to think alone. All this Clan rivalry was really troubling her. If the knight could, she'd try to stop every single battle, but things didn't really work out that way. Then she noticed another cat had been walking the border, from Lucidclan instead of Reverieclan. The other cat jolted her from her thoughts and sent her into others. She wondered what to do: Run away? Act friendly? Tell the Clan?

Imi shrugged as well. "All I did was ask if anycat wanted to come on a hunting patrol. I didn't say I was leading it." he paused, thinking, before speaking again. "Do either of you want to lead?"

Imitationstep backed up a couple steps at Jaggedrock's reply. "Sorry. Was that too exciting? I could do it calmer, if you want." the warrior mewed, the smile still on his face.

Middlerunner forced herself to go competely underwater for a moment and stayed there with her head submerged as well until she felt she needed more air. Well, although Mid was still shivering, the water seemed a bit less cold than when she had first gotten in.

Middlerunner shook her head. She didn't have any questions either - what Inkfeather had said sounded pretty straightforward to her.

Imitationstep shrugged. "If you wanted to get fit, you could do it for that. I'd do it because it's fun. But I do agree about the scaring away the prey part... maybe we could do it in the camp?"
