The ginger tom looked at his mother. "Phoenixflame, I am so sorr--" he began, but was cut short by the deceased queen.
"Congratulations, my son. I am ever so proud of you." the red she-cat meowed happily. Phoenixflame smiled. "With this life, I give you courage. Use it well to stand up for your Clanmates, even in the darkest of times." Skulduggerystar winced as he felt unseen claws tear through his flesh. He glanced down at his flank, expecting blood, but there was none. Had the other leaders felt this?

"With this life, I give you justice. Use it well to give cats the right judgement, and to not judge a book by its cover." came the stern, strong voice of Bluejay. The white tom didn't even show the slightest hint of happiness or pride.

"With this life, I give you loyalty. Use it well to stay true to your Clan and follow your heart." Fallenangel. The black tom was translucent now, dotted with white stars.

"With this life, I give you tireless energy. Use it well to fight for your Clan and to follow the right paths." Owlcity.

"With this life, I give you protection. Use it well to defend your Clan and your loved ones." Headlights.

"With this life, I give you mentoring. Use it well to teach the apprentices of your Clan." Qualitystreet.

"With this life, I give you compassion. Use it well to hear each of your Clanmates out and to be kind to others." Cadburychocolate.

"Congrats, Skully." Toffeepenny. "With this life, I give you love. Use it well to protect those dear to you, such as Flashinglights, Tragedy, Disneypaw and Twilightprincess."

"With this life, I give you nobility, certainty and faith. Use them well to believe in what is right." Last of all, Hospitalflowers.
